There has been some great Money in the Bank contract cash-ins over the years.

With this year’s Money in the Bank PPV right around the corner, there will be more memories made and thus we thought it was a great time to reflect on some of the most memorable cash-ins.

The Money In The Bank pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena.

The show will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured.

Coming in at number five was CM Punk winning the Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 24 on March 30, 2008 was the first time that he won it and later on Raw cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the World Heavyweight Championship from Edge.

Coming in at number four also involves CM Punk which was the following year at WrestleMania 25 and later won the World Title at the Extreme Rules PPV in June from Jeff Hardy.

CM Punk, real name Phillip Brooks, was the biggest Superstar that WWE made in this current decade aside from former WWE Champion John Cena. The former WWE Superstar made a name for himself on the independent scene and while working in Ring of Honor.

When WWE finally decided to sign him, it was a big move for the company. The interesting part of Punk’s time with the sports entertainment company was that they were never behind him.

Punk’s career took off, and he would later hold several championships including the WWE Title. However, after dealing with injuries and not wanting to wrestle anymore, Punk decided to walk out of the company on the Monday following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in 2014.

Since he departed from the WWE in 2014 after the Royal Rumble PPV (pay-per-view) event, fans have wanted to see Punk compete in the squared circle again. Instead, he took his talents to the world famous Octagon in the UFC.

Coming in at number three Kane winning the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2010 at the Money in the Bank PPV and later cashing it in after Rey Mysterio had a successful title defense against Jack Swagger later that night.

Coming in at number two was when Dolph Ziggler cashed it in the night after WrestleMania 29 on an edition of Monday Night Raw after Alberto Del Rio beat Jack Swagger. Ziggler would go onto win the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

Coming in at number one was when Seth Rollins cashed in at WrestleMania 31 during the WWE Title match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. This caught fans off guard to say the least.
