What a season it was for Mohamed Salah last year. The PFA Player of the Year, the FWA Player of the Year, the Premier League Player of the Year and the Premier League Golden Boot winner. Yeah, not bad.His 44 goals in all competitions saw Liverpool clinch a top-four finish and reach the final of the Champions League. The £37 million Liverpool spent on him last summer looks like an incredible bargain right now.And it’s fair to say the Egyptian is absolutely loved at Anfield.

Kopites have already created several chants for their ‘Egyptian King’ and his attitude and character has captured the hearts of Liverpool fans around the world.

However, Salah was actually booed following Liverpool’s 4-0 thrashing of Brighton last season.

SALAH WAS BOOED AFTER BRIGHTON WIN

Liverpool secured Champions League qualification with their win before Salah was confirmed as the Premier League Golden Boot winner with his 32 league goals.

However, Mohamed wasn’t the most popular Salah on the pitch at full-time.

That’s because his daughter, Makka, was the real hero.

As her father picked up his Premier League Player of the Year award, Makka was busy kicking the ball around the Anfield turf. And her every touch received a loud cheer from the Anfield crowd.

After Salah had posed for all of his pictures, he walked over to Anfield’s latest star.

Salah then took the ball away from her and produced a drag-back to prevent her getting the ball.

But Liverpool fans weren’t having any of it. They booed Salah, before the former Roma player eventually gave the ball back to Makka - something that went down well with the Liverpool supporters.

It was very much party time on Merseyside.

They now have two weeks to prepare for their Champions League final against Madrid in Kiev and they will be hoping Salah is in fine form.
