Liverpool finished their 2017-18 Premier League campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Mohamed Salah got things going in the 26th-minute with a record-breaking 32nd league goal and Dominic Solanke, Dejan Lovren and Andy Robertson also got on the scoresheet.

The big win at Anfield means Liverpool finish the campaign in fourth place and, crucially, have secured Champions League football once more for next season.

While Salah has grabbed the majority of the headlines this year, his partners in crime have been outstanding as well; Sadio Mane and, especially, Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian has enjoyed the best season of his career and Liverpool supporters are loving what the legendary Thierry Henry said about him on Sky Sports.

Bobby Firmino's 2017-18 season

Firmino joined the Reds from Hoffenheim in 2015 for around £29 million but has taken his game to a different level this term with consistently strong performances.

Ahead of the Champions League final against Real Madrid, the 26-year-old has registered a superb 27 goals and 17 assists in 52 matches this season.

Following Liverpool's 4-0 win over Brighton, Arsenal's all-time top scorer Henry heaped praise onto Firmino and made a pretty massive claim.

What Henry said about Firmino

The 40-year-old Frenchman called Firmino the most complete forward in the entire league, saying: "Firmino is the most complete striker in the league.

"I'm not talking about the best finisher or the best work rate, I'm talking about all round. Most complete in the league."

Liverpool fans react on Twitter

As you can imagine, Liverpool fans who heard Henry's comments about their number nine couldn't get over it, and they took to Twitter to share their reaction.

Is Henry right about Firmino?

Of course, strikers like Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, Jamie Vardy and Romelu Lukaku have scored more league goals than Bobby, but it's everything else he offers which sets him apart.

Firmino has the energy to constantly press opposition defenders, the technical ability to drop deep and link up play, and he creates lots of chances for others.

The Brazil international has almost become a number nine and a number ten rolled into one, and Reds fans will be hoping he has one more big display left in him on May 26.
