The WWE is currently in the middle of its European tour, and that included hitting the United Kingdom last night (Tues. May 15, 2018) for a taping of SmackDown Live.Part of the blue brand is none other than current United States Champion and huge fan-favorite Jeff Hardy. It looks like Hardy may have injured himself during his performance in London.Several fans in attendance noticed that Hardy was limping badly before and after his match with The Miz.It seems Jeff might have injured his left leg during his entrance. He was apparently checked out by a doctor, but was able to push through and finish the match. You can check out some footage from the event in which Hardy can be seen favoring his leg here:This couldn't have happened at a worse time for Hardy. He's currently in the middle of a big singles push on SmackDown Live as the United States Champion. Jeff is still a major star for the company, as he gets some of the biggest reactions on the roster. Not to mention that he just made his return from injury last month after WrestleMania 34. Hardy had been nursing an injured shoulder for several months before he finally returned to Monday Night RAW last month. He was moved to SmackDown Live by way of the Superstar Shake-Up, bringing the United States Title with him after defeating Jinder Mahal for it on RAW the week prior.Fans took to Twitter to react to the news that Hardy may be injured after performing in London. Here are a few of their comments, feeling sorry for him after just returning from his elbow injury that sidelined him for so long:

Jeff's elbow injury in September forced him to get surgery and shelved him for a significant period of time. It also forced his brother, Matt Hardy, to introduce his "Woken" gimmick and start a solo run of his own.

Now, Matt is aligned with Bray Wyatt on Monday Night RAW as the Tag Team Champions for the brand. Hopefully, whatever happened to Hardy, he is able to return quickly and not miss any significant amount of time.

It would be a shame to lose him again so close to returning from his last injury, and in the middle of a hot run as United States Champion.

What are your thoughts on Hardy limping badly during his match with The Miz in London? Do you think he suffered a significant injury? And what would become of the United States Title if he's unable to compete? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
