Barring a dramatic late twist, it's almost certain that Joe Hart will be missing out on England's final squad for the 2018 World Cup.At the start of the season, you'd struggle to find many football fans who thought that Hart would lose his number one spot, never mind his place in the squad all together. It's been quite the fall from grace for the 31-year-old.The matter of fact is that Hart has been poor at West Ham, racking up individual errors by the dozen and being rotated with Adrian. It looks unlikely that West Ham will re-sign him in the summer and, as a result, he's at the mercy of Manchester City as to his next destination. One man who didn't have any sympathies with Hart was his former teammate Rio Ferdinand, who stated at the BBC's launch of their World Cup coverage: "In my eyes it's the right decision.

Hart reportedly out of World Cup squad

"'What is Joe Hart going to learn from going to this World Cup? He has been to a World Cup before, he has played tournament football before.

"Taking a young kid to go there and experience that I think is a much better way to go."

In the aftermath of the decision, more information is leaking about the call.

Joe Hart is blaming David Moyes

The Times have reported that Hart saw the decision coming with his phone call with Gareth Southgate being short-lived. Hart simply replied: “all the best to the squad."

The 31-year-old is believed to be bitterly disappointed with the decision, but also rather frustrated at his West Ham manager David Moyes.

That's right, according to the Daily Mail, Hart is furious that Moyes decided to leave him out of the Hammers' final three games of the season - which is understood to be a major reason behind Southgate's decision.

To say that news hasn't gone down well with football fans, would be putting it mildly.

Check out the reaction below:

It's difficult to sympathise with Hart blaming Moyes when he has produced so many individual errors this season and one as recent as the Stoke City draw.

Sure, Hart looked impressive against Chelsea in early April but this season has been punctuated with howlers for the 'keeper.

The man who was a staple in the England side for Euro 2012, the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016 may have played his last tournament game for the Three Lions.

Hart is a very talented goalkeeper and could easily make a turnaround, yet he needs to start looking at his own game before he points fingers elsewhere.

Sorry, Joe.
