A video of a Manchester United supporter delivering an incredible rant on YouTube went viral this week.

In the video, the supporter complains about the thought of Liverpool winning the Champions League and Chelsea winning Saturday’s FA Cup final, which would add to Manchester City claiming the Premier League title.

From Man United’s perspective, it really would be a nightmare scenario.

The Red Devils finished second in the league but they were 19 points behind Man City, and Jose Mourinho’s style of play wasn’t always easy on the eye.

So, while victory over Chelsea would be well received, there will remain an underlying sense that this Man United side isn’t quite ready to compete on multiple fronts.

You’ll be hard pushed to find many Man United fans who want Liverpool to prevail when they take on Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26.

It would lead to Liverpool fans spending the entire year reminding everyone that they are champions of Europe.

Neville's plan

Gary Neville is among those wanting to see Los Blancos win the final. The former Man United and England right-back plans to take drastic action if Chelsea win the FA Cup final and Liverpool land the Champions League.

“We’ve got a charter booked for the 27th of May,” Neville told the Daily Mail.

“There will be a million flights booked out of Manchester to the forests of the Amazon where there’s no wifi.

“We’re out of here, we’re gone. It’d be the season from hell.”

Neville added: “Let’s just live in hope that United win the FA Cup and our friend and boy Cristiano (Ronaldo) turns up, scores a lovely little hat-trick.

“Liverpool have done brilliantly to get to a Champions League final. I just don’t want them to win it!”

Seven years after retiring and Neville still despises Liverpool. Brilliant.

He will comfort himself in the knowledge that Real Madrid are a fantastic team, and will be motivated by a desire to win a third Champions League trophy in a row.

If ever there was a time that Neville wanted Ronaldo to step up, forget the years they spent playing together - it's now.

The Portuguese superstar will do his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or no harm should he lead Real to the biggest prize in club football.
