Barnet boss Mark Stimson will take a look at a couple of strikers this week as he aims to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

Stimson looks set to lose star striker John O'Flynn after he enjoyed a successful trial with Championship side Bristol City, and with the exit of Paul Furlong at the end of last season, the Bees are short on numbers up front.

But with four friendlies remaining until the big kick-off, Stimson will invite several potential targets to train with the club this week. He said: "I've got a striker or two coming in this week. We've still got four games before we start our league programme."
