The feud between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar has been well documented over the past couple of the years, as the two have faced each other on several occasions for the top championships in the WWE. However, those collisions inside the squared circle could soon be coming to an end.

Reports have speculated for some time now that Lesnar will soon be leaving the WWE in order to rejuvenate his MMA career in UFC. Many thought this would come after WrestleMania 34 but now it looks like it will happen after SummerSlam.

When he does rejoin the UFC, it will bring an end to The Beast's two-year-plus rivalry with The Big Dog, where they have competed at two WrestleMania main events for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the Universal Championship.

Even though Reigns' on-screen character has been slamming Lesnar for snubbing WWE appearances in favour of getting ready for his UFC comeback, Reigns is actually happy Lesnar is pursuing his goal of getting back inside the Octagon.

Reigns said on Lesnar to the Express: "We saw what he did last time, his last fight was (against) Mark Hunt, I believe, and he looked great. At his age, he's not getting any younger, so I think this is the time to pull the trigger when it comes to that.

"It's important that WWE superstars are successful in other genres of entertainment. I support him fully in what he does, and it's pretty neat to be able to watch him going to the Octagon after wrestling."

Reigns last fought against Lesnar at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia last month in a steel cage match for the Universal Championship. This match ended in controversial fashion after Lesnar was awarded the win despite the fact footage showed Reigns feet touching the floor first after the two crashed through the side of the cage.

The two haven't been booked for another match with the Universal title on the line yet as The Beast isn't expected to have another match for WWE until SummerSlam later this year, which could also be his curtain call before jumping to UFC.

As for Reigns, he's currently rumored to be facing off against Jinder Mahal at Money in the Bank, although this is yet to be confirmed by the WWE.
