Ronda Rousey's WWE career is just kicking off, and it had a tremendous jump-start back at WrestleMania 34.

The Rowdy One made her in-ring debut for the company in New Orleans when she teamed up with WWE Hall Of Famer and Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle to defeat Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in Mixed Tag Team action.

Shortly thereafter, Rousey seemed to have some issues with RAW star Mickie James for assaulting her friend and training partner, Natalya.

Rousey worked with James on the WWE's European Tour this week and began her career as a singles competitor in WWE.

She's now set to challenge for her first World Title in the company, as it was announced that the former UFC women's bantamweight champion will be taking on RAW Women's Champion Nia Jax at the Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) for the title.

Jax challenged Rousey to the match at a recent media event they attended together, and Rousey accepted the challenge.

Now she's set to wrestle for her first title on WWE TV next month in Chicago.

As for Jax, it looks like WWE could have big plans for her in regards to her program with Rousey. It's been reported that the goal for Rousey is to re-create the magic that Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin had in the 90s.

An Authority vs. Fan-favorite storyline is the goal for Rousey and Stephanie McMahon.

A report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer indicates that WWE could use Jax to further this storyline.

This would entail Jax aligning herself with Stephanie McMahon and making a major heel turn. This could happen as soon as MITB, as McMahon could cost Rousey her shot at the RAW Women's Championship.

If WWE really wants to attempt to elevate Rousey vs. Stephanie to the status of Austin vs. McMahon, it's going to take a ton of work. A screwjob-esk finish at MITB, however, could really get the ball rolling.

What are your thoughts on WWE possibly planning to turn Nia Jax heel in order to continue the rivalry between Rousey and McMahon? Do you think the feud can ever achieve the same success as Austin vs. McMahon? And what do you think WWE could do to get fans more invested in this storyline?
