It has been a rough past few years for Daniel Bryan, and the actions of The Miz over that lengthy time period didn't make things any easier.Bryan suffered from a string of concussion-related injuries over the course of his storied professional wrestling career, which included a lesion in his brain that resulted in a few seizures. As a result, Bryan was forced to retire from in-ring competition with WWE.After getting some second opinions from specialists around the country, however, Bryan was told his decision to retire may have been premature. It was here that the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion begun his path back to the professional wrestling ring. During this time, however, he was forced to take non-wrestling roles with WWE to fulfill his contract.Bryan did some commentary work for the Cruiserweight Classic, served as the SmackDown Live General Manager, and even worked the Talking Smack program after SmackDown Live each week for some time. While he was away, however, Bryan was being ruthlessly mocked by The Miz on WWE TV. Miz would mimic Bryan's moves inside the ring, bad-mouth his career on the microphone, and even cut a scathing promo no Bryan on an episode of Talking Smack that forced Bryan to storm off set in a rage.Miz had no issue talking trash about Bryan because he knew that he could never do anything about it, as he was barred from participating in any sort of physicality by WWE's medical staff.Earlier this year, however, that all changed when WWE finally cleared Bryan for an in-ring return. After seeing some specialists recommended by WWE's medical staff, and passing all their tests, Bryan was medically cleared for a return. He now resides as a full-time competitor on SmackDown Live - the same brand that The Miz just so happens to be on.WWE fans expect a Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz feud to happen soon, and can't wait for it either. During WWE's European Tour last night, fans got a taste of what they can expect in the coming months. The pair went head-to-head in a match that Bryan was able to win, and it must've been so satisfying to get his hands on the man that has made his life a living hell for the past few years.Check out some clips from the match here below:
