Burton boss Paul Peschisolido would like to add experienced midfielder Adam Bolder to his squad.

The 29-year-old, who played with Peschisolido at Derby, has been training with Albion while he attempts to negotiate a release from his contract with Millwall.

"No manager can ever have any guarantees about the success of new signings but Adam is a player I would like to add to the squad," said Peschisolido."If he can sort things out at the Millwall end, I would definitely like to sit down with him and try to persuade him to join us."

He added: "I know him well having played with him at Derby and he is a good and aggressive footballer. He is a winner and another captain-like figure who would be a huge asset.

"Adam ticks a lot of boxes and we' will be very close to having the squad I want if I can get him to join us."
