WWE Champion AJ Styles is set to defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura yet again, but this time it will be at the Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) in Chicago next month.

Shinsuke Nakamura has earned the opportunity to name the stipulation for their match, which at this point needs to have a definitive winner after the last two meetings between the pair.

Their rivalry commenced after Nakamura won the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble.

He chose to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans this past April. Styles won the match, but the Japanese star turned heel by hitting him with a lot blow after the match.

The pair got to rematch at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but that ended in a double count-out as both men didn't get back inside the ring before the count of 10.

After being counted out, Styles viciously attacked Nakamura in revenge for his attack after their WrestleMania match.

A No Disqualification match was announced between Nakamura and Styles at the Backlash PPV last month, but again no clear winner was determined as neither man was able to get to their feet and answer the referee's 10 count.

Now, Styles and Nakamura will rematch at the MITB PPV and Nakamura has yet to decide the stipulation for the match.

Per a report from Cageside Seats, it seems that their bout is likely to be a Last Man Standing match. This would be a perfect stipulation to have a clear winner, however, there's one minor issue.

There's a possibility that the match could end the exact same way their match at Backlash did. If neither man is able to get to their feet and answer the 10 count, the match will again end in a draw.

Perhaps SmackDown Live General Manager Paige will add in a special stipulation to ensure the WWE Universe gets a definitive winner in this bout.

What are your thoughts on Styles and Nakamura's next match likely being a Last Man Standing match? Do you think that this is the right match selection to finally cap off this rivalry between the former New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star? And who are you picking to leave Chicago with the WWE Title? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
