Former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is set to make her singles match debut in the WWE, when she challenges Nia Jax for the RAW Women's Title at the upcoming Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV).

It all goes down from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on June 17th, and the bout will likely be the most anticipated of the night. Rousey made her professional wrestling debut at WrestleMania 34 this past April.

She teamed up with WWE Hall Of Famer and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in Mixed Tag Team action.

Rousey has since returned to the ring as she has been working tag team matches during WWE's European Tour, likely to get her in ring shape before she takes on Jax for the title next month.

Recently, at a promotional event that featured appearances from several top WWE female stars, Rousey was challenged by Jax to a title match at the upcoming PPV.

At first The Rowdy One was reluctant, believing she hadn't earned an opportunity at the strap yet.

After Jax was insistent on challenging her, Rousey finally budged and happily accepted Jax's challenge.

Now the stage is set for Rousey to take on the RAW Women's Champion, receiving a World Title opportunity so young in her professional wrestling career.

Many fans have been wondering just exactly what WWE has planned for this match. It's hard to believe WWE will allow Rousey to lose cleanly given how they want to build her up.

But it's also way too soon to put the RAW Women's Title on Rousey at this point in her career. The only logical way to get out of this would be for Jax to turn heel and cheat to win, or Rousey gets screwed out of the title by Stephanie McMahon.

Per a report from Cageside Seats, current betting odds have Jax retaining her title at the event. This backs up the theory that Rousey will not be winning the title, and will instead likely get cheated out of a big win.

It should be interesting to see the finish WWE creative comes up with for this groundbreaking match.
