Kevin Owens and WWE’s on-screen authoritative figures just don’t go well together.

When the former Universal Champion isn’t busy butting heads with Mick Foley, he’s over on SmackDown LIVE making Shane McMahon’s life a living - and painful - hell, while also getting Sami Zayn involved in their conflict.

MONEY IN THE BANK

There was also the heinous attack on Daniel Bryan after he announced his in-ring return; with both instances sandwiched perfectly between Owens’ vicious headbutt on Vince McMahon, followed by a colossal frog splash.

Based on that trend, it might not be a huge surprise to see Owens getting his hands on current Monday Night RAW general manager, Kurt Angle.

After sneakily managing to squirm his way into the Money in the Bank ladder match next month, fans are trying to decide which one of the huge names could end up leaving with the briefcase.

It’s hard to look past a monster like Braun Strowman and - potentially - Samoa Joe, while rumours suggest The Miz or a shocking winner in Big E could end up becoming Mr. Money in the Bank.

Amidst all of the intrigue, Angle recently took to his official Facebook account to participate in another out of character Q&A session.

When he was asked about who he sees leaving with the briefcase, he gave a somewhat surprising answer in Owens when in storyline, you’d expect him to say the complete opposite.

OWENS

He said: “Honestly? He’s a long shot. But Kevin Owens. He seems to always find a way to shine. A real ass kisser :)”

In kayfabe, Angle would undoubtedly side with somebody like The Monster Among Men, or even Finn Balor.

With Zayn now locked in a battle with Bobby Lashley, it remains to be seen whether he can be the one that helps Owens unhook the briefcase - if Angle’s prediction is correct.

Considering the heels usually make for better winners of this match as they’re able to act more cowardly with multiple cash-in attempts, Owens should be in the conversation as a potential winner.

However, when you take his previous luck with management into account, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Owens pin his failures on Angle with a potential clash down the line.
