Stephen Curry broke out of his shooting slump in stunning fashion as he led the Golden State Warriors to a huge win over the Houston Rockets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. The superstar dropped 35 points as the defending champions blew Houston away with a massive 126-85 victory at Oracle Arena on Sunday night.Curry came into the encounter shooting just 2-of-13 from three-point range as he struggled to get anything to fall on the road in the opening two games. That continued into the first half last night as he was just 1-of-7 from downtown and looked to be heading for another bad outing. But the two-time MVP came out a different player after the break and exploded into life in the third quarter.

The 30-year-old scored 18 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting and had rediscovered his mojo. He put his full offensive repertoire on display as he scored a variety of buckets to send the home crowd into raptures.

It was easy to tell that he'd found his groove again as he broke out his favourite shimmy after performing a series of dribbles on James Harden before nailing a trademark three-pointer.

"I always say you never lose confidence," Curry said, per ESPN. "A lot of it was just talking to myself, almost like you've got to be your biggest fan sometimes."

The sharpshooter admitted that his poor shooting in Houston bothered him but he always knew he was capable of breaking out of it at any moment.

"Everybody's human," Curry said. "But consistently, that's what's gotten me through some tough times and really keeps my perspective right when games go well too, because it can change quick."

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr praised his point guard for the way he's dealt with his shooting woes and says that's what separates him from other players.

"It's real, true confidence," Kerr told ESPN. "I think a lot of guys would be sitting there for three days and get ornery with you guys [asking about his poor shooting]. But he's not. He handles it so well."

The five-time All-Star was clearly enjoying himself on the court and may have got slightly carried away as he screamed, "This is my f------ house!" to the crowd after a stunning layup.

Curry's emotions were running high and claimed that he "blacked out" at that moment but it didn't go down well with his mother.

"She already sent me two home videos, showing me the clip and playing it back," Curry told ESPN. "She was telling me how I need to wash my mouth out, saying to wash it out with soap. It's a message I've heard before."

With the veteran breaking out in the series, it spells trouble for the Rockets moving forward as the reigning champs are beginning to look formidable once again.
