The WWE has just wrapped up its European tour, and it was very successful thanks in large part to a few surprises the company had up its sleeve.

One such surprise was the return of one of WWE fans' most favorite themes of all time. Shelton Benjamin hit the ring for a match against Sin Cara by using his "Ain't No Stopping Me" theme that hasn't been heard on WWE programming for eight years.

Benjamin would go on to win the match in Prague, Czech Republic after hitting his finisher the Paydirt.

You can check out the video of Benjamin using his old theme here below:

The former Intercontinental Champion returned to WWE last year by way of the Superstar Shake-Up. After Jason Jordan was moved to Monday Night RAW, then-SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan paired Benjamin up with Chad Gable.

The pair had a fair amount of success as a duo on the blue brand, but were never able to capture the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles.

Gable was moved to RAW by way of this year's Superstar Shake-Up shortly after WrestleMania 34, and Benjamin was forced to take on a singles role on Tuesday nights instead.

Now, Benjamin has been playing the role of heel lately on WWE TV but hasn't found himself in any sort of rivalry or title pursuit since dropping out of the United States Championship picture.

Benjamin has been more prominently featured on SmackDown Live as opposed to his opponent in Prague, Sin Cara. Cara hasn't been in a premiere role for the company in quite some time.

To be fair, neither man is involved in anything of significance at the moment, but Benjamin is still able to get some decent TV time on SmackDown Live each week.

It should be interesting to see how WWE decides to use their former Intercontinental Champ now that he's back on the road as a singles competitor. Perhaps a run with the United States Title could be in his future.

What are your thoughts on Benjamin bringing back his old theme song at this weekend's live events? Do you think this means he'll be using it on WWE TV from now on? And what would you like to see WWE do with Benjamin next? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
