REPORT: STURRIDGE AND KLOPP HAVE FALLEN OUT
However, an unsubstantiated report from ‘Anfield Edition’ claimed on Monday night that his relationship with Jurgen Klopp has “turned sour.”
The ‘exclusive’ report states: “Daniel Sturridge and Jurgen Klopp’s relationship has turned sour after he did not receive an invitation to the Champions League final in Kyiv on Saturday, a source close to Daniel Sturridge has revealed.
“Naby Keita, who isn’t even a Liverpool player yet, has an open invitation to the Champions League final on Saturday.
“Sturridge has also been left out of Liverpool’s scheduled bus parade which is set to happen on 27th May, providing the Reds’ are successful in Kyiv of course.
“Sturridge’s loan spell is up at West Brom, yet hasn’t once been contacted by Klopp. The England international feels majorly let down.”
However, Sturridge moved quickly to pour cold water on this report.

While Sturridge’s relationship with Klopp may not have “turned sour,” it’s looking increasingly unlikely that he’ll be a Liverpool player next season.
With Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino running riot this season, Sturridge will have to accept to play second-fiddle once again next campaign if he wants to stay.
But Klopp will most likely want to offload him to free up some wages for potential incomings.
