Boxing fans were pretty underwhelmed when Tyson Fury's comeback opponent was announced on the weekend.

While no one was expecting a high-profile bout in Manchester on June 9, the revelation of Sefer Seferi was rather bizarre.

Not only is the Albanian recognised as a cruiserweight, but he stands at almost a foot shorter than Fury at 5'10".

The self-proclaimed Gypsy King was even talking the talk before the announcement, saying he wouldn't take a fight with Tony Bellew as he would "hurt him properly".

The Bomber called out Fury in his post-fight press conference after beating David Haye, but it appears a fight will never happen.

Fury's convinced his size and power would be too much for Bellew, despite the fact he's accepted a fight with Seferi who is far smaller than the Bomber.

And Bellew has now responded to Fury's 'chilling' message on talkSPORT.

"He come out and said he won't fight me because I'm a cruiserweight and he'll hurt me," he said. "Well Jesus Christ, he's only fighting a cruiserweight isn't he?

"I think he understands that I'm a much more dangerous fight that anyone he can possibly face right now.

"If Tyson wants to make serious money, he knows where to come."

Bellew is then asked whether Fury would be an "awkward fight".

"He is awkward to fight of the big guys, Al," he replied. "But, I'm more tricky than him, I'm quicker than him and I'm stronger than him.

"What he has over me, his attributes are - the attributes he has over me is size, and that's all he has over me.

"I actually punch harder than Tyson Fury."

That last part is a pretty big response to Fury's message and a lot of boxing fans would maybe agree with Bellew's assessment.

Fury has never been recognised as a power puncher, with his primary boxing attributes coming courtesy of speed and science.
