The WWE has been putting in a ton of effort into its Women's Division the past few years, and trying to make the Women's Revolution as big as possible. In doing so; Women have been featured in main event spots more frequently, they've received the same annual gimmick matches as the men, and the company was even able to ink former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to a full-time deal. There were some key players in the Women's Revolution during its early days, but none more so than Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks.

Birth Of The Women's Revolution

Banks and Flair put on an amazing rivalry back in 2016 that featured many milestones for women in professional wrestling. They competed in the first-ever Women's Hell In A Cell match.

They also competed in a Falls Count Anywhere match and a 30-minute Ironman match, both with the RAW Women's Championship on the line.

The feud was arguably the hottest thing on WWE TV at the time and put women's wrestling on the map.

Fast-forward two years later and the women have achieved new heights in wrestling that some would only dream of in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Now the female competitors in WWE have their own Money In The Bank (MITB), Elimination Chamber, and Royal Rumble. The evolution has certainly been a pleasure to watch over the years.

Keeping The Band Together

In regards to keeping this current jam-packed female roster together for the foreseeable future, WWE reportedly just inked a key player in the Women's Revolution to a brand new deal - Sasha Banks.

Wrestle Votes reports on Twitter that within the last week or so Banks signed a new deal with the company. It was also noted she'd continue to be a key player in the Women's Division for years to come:

Banks has certainly connected with fans, as she moves some of the most merchandise in the company for female stars and really connects with young fans.

Not to mention she's one of the better in-ring performers the company has and can cut a pretty good promo when she has the mic in her hands.

It looks like The Legit Boss has a home in WWE for the foreseeable future, and it's going to be a pleasure to see her career blossom for years to come.
