Simon Mignolet sends brilliant tweet after Mo Salah tells funny story about damaging his car

Liverpool Training Session

Mohamed Salah has been superb in his debut season at Anfield.

He has scored 44 goals in all competitors, with 11 of those coming in Europe's biggest club competition.

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool will no doubt he hoping that Salah can prove to be the difference once again in the Champions League final on Saturday.

So how is he feeling before the biggest game of his career to date?

You would forgive him for being a bit apprehensive, but it seems Salah is actually in a very relaxed mood ahead of the Champions League final.

This is based on a nine minute video that Liverpool posted on YouTube of a conversation between Salah and his best friend at the club, Dejan Lovren.

The two cover a number of topics, including his celebration and Virgil van Dijk, but one of the funniest segments involves a story involving Simon Mignolet.

Lovren reveals how Salah hit Mignolet's car with his own car door at the Liverpool player awards earlier this month.

Mignolet is said to have been inside his vehicle at the time, and was understandably not happy with Salah.

MIGNOLET RESPONDS WITH BRILLIANT TWEET

Mignolet is one of the more active footballers on the social media platform, having sent a number of funny tweets in the past.

And he has now responded on Twitter to the clip, and it's absolutely brilliant.

After watching the minute long clip, Mignolet joked how his car is actually worth more after being hit by Salah.

"My car is worth a lot more now it’s on @eBay with a killer advert line: ‘Just like many @premierleague & @ChampionsLeague clubs, damaged by @MoSalah.’ 💷💰" he wrote.

Quality stuff from Mignolet.

Anything Salah has touched has turned to gold this season, and Mignolet is joking that although his car has been damaged, he thinks he can make more money by mentioning that the damage was caused by the Egyptian.

This joke went down very well with Liverpool fans on Twitter.

Some even think that Mignolet is providing competition with Milner for the funniest Liverpool footballer on social media.

That's a big call indeed.
