Brock Lesnar is one of the most unstoppable forces in the WWE today.

Lesnar won the WWE Universal Championship back in April of last year at WrestleMania 33, when he defeated Goldberg in a crazy physical match in Orlando. Since then, The Beast has reigned as the Universal Champion over on Monday Night RAW.

Despite the best efforts of top stars such as Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, and Roman Reigns - nobody has been able to defeat Lesnar for the Universal Title.

Nearly De-Throning The Beast

Roman Reigns came closer than anyone, nearly pulling off a miraculous comeback at WrestleMania 34 to win a match everyone thought he'd win for the past four years, but a sixth F5 form Lesnar silenced that notion.

He then rematched The Beast inside a Steel Cage at the Greatest Royal Rumble, and despite a controversial finish the the match, Lesnar retained his status as champion.

Now Lesnar is away taking time off again, and will return when the time is right to defend the Universal throne once more.

14 Years And Counting

Its been quite a while since Lesnar has ever been defeated for a World Title in the WWE. In fact, its been so long that the man who did it last is sadly no longer with us today.

14 years ago at the 2004 No Way Out pay-per-view (PPV), WWE Hall Of Famer Eddie Guerrero defeated Lesnar in singles competition - thanks to a helpful Spear from Goldberg - to pin Lesnar for the WWE Title:

Lesnar would go on to WrestleMania 20 later that year and fight Goldberg in attempt to extract revenge.

It turns out that Guerrero's victory over Lesnar in 2004 as the last time that the former UFC heavyweight champion had been pinned for a World Title.

WWE has done a magnificent job of keeping Lesnar strong in recent years.

A stat-line of being un-pinned in title competition for nearly two decades, however, is simply a ridiculous thing to fathom.

On a side note, despite having tragically passed away back in 2005 way before his time, it's nice to see that Latino Heat's legacy is living on through a record that is very relevant in today's WWE programming.
