This season, Liverpool fans have been at their creative best.
The ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ chant has been the soundtrack to their run to the Champions League final, while Mohamed Salah has been subject to a couple of brilliant songs.
Salah’s heroics this season has seen supporters come up with two chants for him - one about him being the ‘Egyptian King’ and the other about them becoming a Muslim if he scores a few more goals.
Then, there was a viral chant from an Irish fan to the tune of ‘Sugar, Sugar’ involving Sadio Mane, Salah, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho which never really made it inside the stadium.
But it’s the ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ chant about Liverpool conquering Europe that could be heard in Porto, in Manchester and in Rome during their run to Kiev.
And it’s a song that manager Jurgen Klopp can’t get enough of.
“‘Allez, alllez, allez’ is new?” Klopp asked. “I thought it’s an old song… but that’s because I’ve heard it so often now this year. That’s really cool. It’s a really, really cool song.”
And while there have been plenty of songs for Salah this season, Klopp has now ordered the Liverpool fans to come up with one for Firmino.
The only acknowledgment the Brazilian gets from Liverpool fans at the moment is a standard ‘Bobby Firmino’ chant.
But the German insists this isn't good enough.
“All of them, they are so creative; unbelievable,” Klopp said about the Liverpool chants.
“The only thing…The Mo Salah song is obviously a fantastic one. They need to… We already have a Bobby Firmino song? But it’s only Bobby Firmino, right? That’s not a song - hello?
“So I think he really deserves a song. I order a song for Bobby.”
Yeah, we’re with you on that one, Jurgen.
While Salah has got all the plaudits and won all the awards for his goals this season, he wouldn’t have been so successful if it wasn’t for Firmino’s involvement.
The striker is the perfect player to create space for the Egyptian for him to thrive - and he even does a lot of his running for him too.
But if Firmino plays a key role in helping Liverpool win the Champions League on Saturday, you can guarantee Liverpool fans will have a new song for their hero before the start of the 2018/19 season.
