The Young Bucks are perhaps the most exciting tag team outside of WWE. Despite currently performing in Japan with NJPW, Matt and Nick Jackson have plenty of fans that want to see them compete regularly in the United States. The pair have won titles across the globe, making them one of the most successful tag teams in professional wrestling. They've won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship seven times in Japan, as well as the ROH World Tag Team Championship three times. As well as having success together, they have also been members of the Bullet Club since 2013 and also formed a dominating sub-group with Kenny Omega between 2016 and 2018.It's fair to say then, that The Young Bucks are quite accomplished on the independent circuit. And fans are desperate to see them in WWE.   However, according to their official Twitter account, the brothers are working under a deal that keeps them solely in NJPW and Ring of Honor until at least the end of this year. They signed that deal back in 2016 and earlier this week, Nick confirmed that they will see out their contract and that The Bucks are happy with what they're doing.

Of course, once their deal ends in 2018 and they become free agents, the tag team will be able to sign with whoever they want - so as Nick suggests: "never say never".

But with just over six months remaining on their contracts, according to Matt, The Young Bucks are not currently interested in signing with WWE.

While doing a recent interview with Chris Jericho, Matt said that they're skeptical about joining WWE as they wouldn't be offered a good deal, even though the company could afford it.

"If we left right now [for WWE], it would be kind of dumb of us because they couldn't pay us what we're making right now, not with the schedule we're on too, there's no way," he said, per Wrestling Inc.

"Of course they could [afford the pay]! Do you know what I mean? I just don't think they would!"

Nick reiterated his brother's point, stating that the WWE is not a current goal.

"The way we're going, we could probably quit in five years," Nick said. "At this point, [WWE]'s not a goal. We don't need it. It was [a goal] for sure. For our first eight years, that was the goal."

Despite The Young Bucks suggesting that they're not desperate for a move to WWE, fans will still be hoping that when their current deals do run out, maybe Vince McMahon will be able to lure them over. Never say never.
