It will certainly be interesting to see what happens to Mesut Ozil following Unai Emery’s arrival at Arsenal.Ozil may have signed a new contract at the Emirates but his commitment to the club was often questioned under Arsene Wenger. The German was deemed ‘ill’ on several occasions last season - something which led to Martin Keown’s extraordinary rant following Arsenal’s Europa League exit to Atletico Madrid."I haven't been happy with him for some time and it seems as if he picks and chooses his games," Keown said on BT Sport."Show some drive, show some energy. He's on the edge of it. It's almost like he's got his hands in the air and saying 'these players aren't as good as me'."And it's almost like somebody needed to grab him a long time ago and give him a shake and say 'we're trying to get the ball to you, we are working for you but you're not working for us'."I bet he doesn't play again this season. He'll have some emotional breakdown and won't be able to play at the weekend.

"I don't know how many illnesses he's had this season. The fella is not kidding me. That is not a proper performance. He's not giving everything and there's much more under the bonnet. Somebody else will find it."

As Keown predicted, Ozil was absent for Arsenal’s next match due to an ‘illness’.

So when Ozil was seen training in Germany with the phrase ’Best Never Rest,’ Arsenal fans just couldn’t stop laughing.

'BEST NEVER REST'

Of course, that slogan was on the shirt of every German player during training but Gooners found it hilariously ironic that Ozil was seen with it on his top.

Check out the reaction:

We doubt Ozil will get away with being ‘ill’ quite so often under Emery next season…
