The Bomb Squad is about to get a little bigger as Deontay Wilder's younger brother Marsellos prepares to launch his professional career this weekend.

The 26-year-old, who fights at cruiserweight, took time out from his preparations to have his say on the latest developments in his brother's protracted negotiations with the Anthony Joshua camp as they attempt to agree on a historic clash that will unify all of the heavyweight belts.

Deontay, known as the 'Bronze Bomber', has never been defeated in the professional ranks, accumulating 40 victories with 39 of them inside the distance.

His concussive punching power has led him to seven successful defences of the coveted WBC heavyweight belt.

However, he knows that there is a stumbling block in his quest to become the undisputed king of the division and it goes by the name of Anthony Joshua.

The British fighter with the megawatt smile and radiant charisma has captured the attention of the sporting world with a stunning series of victories that have garnered him the four remaining belts in the heavyweight division.

Everyone wants to see the two unbeaten giants face off, but ironing out the details of this potential superfight has proved to be somewhat problematic.

Both teams have so far been stubborn in their demands, but it is hoped that the stalemate can be broken and the fight can soon be made.

Latest reports speculate that Joshua has refused a $50million offer from Wilder to fight him in America as he wants the bout to take place in Britain.

But, Marsellos seems as hopeful as the rest of us that the two men will eventually lock horns inside the ropes.

“I feel the situation is corny,” Marsellos exclusively told World Boxing News.

“Here you have the heavyweight division booming at its highest level and two undefeated knockout artists fighting for all the belts. Plus, you got $50million on the table.

"There’s one champ who definitely wants it, and the other champ who seems unsure, but the whole world is asking for this fight.

“The one thing I know for certain is that Deontay will fight on another planet if it’s safe and they are paying the champ a fair deal and what he deserves.

“I think Joshua probably wants to take the fight, but his handlers don’t. They know it’s a huge risk against Deontay as he’s a massive puncher.”

Deontay's brother was then asked whether there's a danger of the WBC champ walking away from negotiations, to which he responded with: “I don’t want to see Deontay fight nobody but Anthony Joshua, period.

“Deontay one hundred percent wants this fight next, he wants to fight the best of the best and unify."
