On June 17, Money in the Bank returns and we'll find out who will get their hands on the converted briefcase, and in turn, a championship match of their choosing. This year, there are a few twists on one of the WWE fans favourite pay-per-views. Instead of the normal six competing in the ladder match, eight men will be fighting for the briefcase this year. Members from both the Raw and Smackdown Live rosters are in the match, with Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, The Miz, Rusev, Bobby Roode and Kevin Owens already confirmed. They will be joined by one member of The New Day - and the winner of a second chance qualifying match between Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe. Of course, it's not just the men that have the chance to win a contract - as the women do too. The Women's Money in the Bank ladder match will also feature eight superstars for the first time.

WOMEN'S LADDER MATCH

Already confirmed for that match are Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Lana and Naomi.

The final place will be decided through a gauntlet match on Raw next week, with seven others, including the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James battling for the final spot.

Although this ladder match will be a first for a number of the women involved, there's one who will have to prepare herself more than the others.

LANA'S OPPORTUNITY

That person is Lana. After four years of managing Rusev, she decided it was time to get in the ring herself and began a singles career in 2017.

However, until this week, she hadn't actually won a singles match in WWE outside of NXT.

Incredibly though, on Tuesday's episode of Smackdown, Lana beat Billie Kay to qualify for Money in the Bank.

Afterward, there was a lot of talk about her inclusion at the PPV, with some suggesting she isn't ready for a ladder match as she has so little experience on the main roster.

But, if Lana's recent Facebook Live video is anything to go by, she's taking this opportunity very seriously.

In the video, she says that Money in the Bank is the biggest match of her career and that she's going off to the gym to practice taking bumps off ladders of all different sizes.

Check it out below.

In the clip we also hear Jim Neidhart (Natalya's father) giving Lana some advice about what spots she could try during Money in the Bank.

Given all this, perhaps Lana can surprise all the fans who are doubting her ability to perform in such an important match.
