Liverpool have the chance to enter the history books once again tonight, as they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

The match, which seems to have taken an eternity to come around, takes place in Kiev, and the eyes of the world will be on two of the most successful teams in the competition's history.

Real Madrid could win their 13th title, while Jurgen Klopp's men could add a sixth to their name, which would take them even further clear in comparison to British clubs.

Liverpool are the top scorers in the Champions League this season with a massive 40 goals, largely thanks to the threat of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane up front.

Cristiano Ronaldo boasts almost as fearsome a record on his own, and is the top scorer in the history of the competition, with 120 goals in just 152 games.

Given that both teams have struggled defensively, we can expect plenty of goals in the Ukrainian capital.

If Zinedine Zidane's side were to come out on top, it would be their fourth title in five years and their third on the spin, dominance which is pretty much unparalelled.

But the Reds will have other ideas, and must fancy their chances of blowing the reigning champions away, notably with how they put Manchester City to the sword at Anfield in the quarter-finals.

And with it being such a huge occasion, the club and its former players are suitably having a great time in Kiev.

One of those is Jamie Carragher, their second-highest appearance maker of all-time, who has been out of the limelight for a while after being suspended from his role with Sky Sports earlier this year.

It's safe to say that 'Carra' has been enjoying himself with the fans, who captured his antics on video last night, and it's quite brilliant to watch.

You can see the former defender in the middle of the video in a grey top, belting out the lyrics to Liverpool's Mo Salah song.

It's absolutely fantastic to see ex-players get involved with supporters like that, all soaking up the atmosphere ahead of their most important game in a number of years.

Today, Carragher responded to the video, which has gone viral on social media, with another fantastic tweet.

It sums up the mood that Reds' fans are in ahead of the final, and a scary thought if Liverpool do win as to how far Carragher will go in his celebrations.

However, it will be a very tough ask to end the dominance of Real Madrid in the competition, as Zidane has never been knocked out of it since taking charge in 2016.

But if any attack has the power to break them down, it is Liverpool's.

Should Klopp's men lift the trophy, the players, the fans and Jamie Carragher will be dancing long into the night.
