AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura have been feuding for several months for the WWE Championship, but it looks like their could be a brilliant payoff when it's all said and done at the Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) next month.

Since WrestleMania 34, when Styles and Nakamura began their in-ring feud in WWE, The Artist has been utilizing low blows against The Phenomenal One.

This has come into play during several of their meetings in the past few months.

On several episodes of SmackDown, the Greatest Royal Rumble, and Backlash, low blows were present in all of the pair's encounters.

It seems that this has been a subtle little part of their rivalry that will play into the finish of MITB in a big way next month.

The Finish

In the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez revealed the likely finish to the match between Styles and Nakamura at MITB.

Due to the fact that both men have been exchanging low blows to each other in their matches, and that their MITB match will be a Last Man Standing match, the finish of this match could end via a low blow as well.

Both men could hit each other with a low blow and go down, similar to the way things ended at Backlash. This time, however, Styles could shoot up to his feet and reveal that he is wearing a protective cup - answering the referee's 10 count and winning the match.

This would show that Styles has learned from his past altercations with Nakamura, and has taken extra precautions to ensure he avoids losing to such a dirty tactic.

A Long Road

It's been a long road on this rivalry between Styles and Nakamura. Styles won the WWE Championship back in November when he defeated Jinder Mahal on an episode of SmackDown Live.

Nakamura won the 2018 Royal Rumble to earn his spot in the main event of WrestleMania opposite Styles for the WWE Title.

Styles has been able to successfully defend his title against the Japanese star several times thus far, but in a match with no rules at MITB, Nakamura could possibly leave Chicago with WWE gold.

It should be interesting to see how things shake out between the pair when it's all said and done.
