Chesterfield have signed Huddersfield teenager Jack Hunt on loan until the new year.

The 19-year-old right-sided player, who has been with the Terriers since under-9 level and recently signed his first professional contract with the club, will remain with John Sheridan's side until January 3, 2011.

Hunt has been on trial at Chesterfield and played in the pre-season friendlies against Matlock and Derby last week as well as the latest run-out at Tamworth on Tuesday night which the Spireites won 2-0 courtesy of second-half goals from Craig Davies and Danny Whitaker.

Meanwhile, trialist goalkeeper Shane Redmond has been offered a short-term month-to-month deal at the b2net Stadium.
