Live from the home state of United States Champion Jeff Hardy and WWE Champion AJ Styles, North Carolina, Smackdown Live had some great matches in store. For the final spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Daniel Bryan faced Samoa Joe and recent nemesis Big Cass as well as getting to indulge in The New Day taking on The Bar with The Miz as their extra man. In the women's division, we got to see a dance-off between Lana and Naomi as well as witnessing number one contender for the Smackdown Women's Championship Asuka face off against Mandy Rose. Here are all the results from Smackdown Live:BIG CASS IS CLEARED TO COMPETETo open the show, Samoa Joe came out and immediately grabbed a ladder, climbed it and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase that was hoisted above the ring. He said that he will defeat Bryan and made it extremely personal before Bryan came out to silence his critic. Before Bryan and Joe got physical, Big Cass came to the ring on a crutch and said that neither man deserved to be in the match and that General Manager Paige had promised Cass a chance to enter next month's ladder match. He then surprisingly announced that he was cleared to compete before going to work on Joe and Bryan, finishing the exchange standing tall.

Rating - 6/10

It was fun to see Joe grab the briefcase that is always above the ring. He always speaks with such a high intensity and passion. Bryan's interruption was short lived and Cass was able to easily gain the upper hand before tonight's main event.

SHINSUKE NAKAMURA VS. TYE DILLINGER

This was Dillinger's first match on Smackdown since April 3rd and he had a tough opponent in Shinsuke Nakamura.

Nakamura was able to take advantage early as Dillinger's Suicide Dive was blocked by the knee of WWE's Rockstar. Nakamura kept putting down Dillinger and began counting, as will be the case in his Last Man Standing match with AJ Styles at Money in the Bank.

Dillinger mocked Nakamura but it only fired up the former NXT Champion, as he nailed a knee from the second rope and then hit a Kinshasa to finish off the match. After being announced as the winner, he hit Dillinger again and began counting on the live microphone.

Rating - 7/10

It was surprisingly an enjoyable watch. Dillinger showed good resilience and Nakamura was entertaining but highly annoying at the same time. Both men can work well in the ring and they had very good chemistry within the short physical exchanges. This helped Nakamura look even more of a threat to Styles' WWE Championship and he could topple The Phenomenal One next month.

NAOMI AND LANA HAVE A DANCE OFF

Accompanied by her husband Rusev and Aiden English, Lana faced off against Naomi in a dance-off. The Usos followed out Naomi as she made her way into the ring.

Lana began the dance-off whilst the Bulgarian Brute live-streamed the historic event on Instagram Live. After a short dance, Naomi took a turn before the two embraced in the center of the ring. The embrace turned into a Neckbreaker from Lana as she began the assault on Naomi.

The Usos saw the attack from Rusev and English coming and managed to Superkick them off the apron whilst Lana suffered the Rear View from Naomi. Why can't dance offs just end nicely like Rikishi's back in the Attitude Era?

Rating - 4/10

The dancing was quite a poor standard considering Naomi was a backing dancer before joining WWE. The whole segment was quite light-hearted and a bit of fun, although The Usos cleared Rusev and English out the ring way too easily. It keeps the Rusev Day stable firmly as heels too, something which the WWE Universe are crying out for to change.

THE NEW DAY VS. THE BAR AND THE MIZ

The heel team took the early advantage of this six-man tag match by using dirty tactics. Pandemonium occurred as The Miz and Sheamus hurled Big E into the barricade.

Kingston was able to hit The Miz with SOS and get the hot tag to Xavier Woods. To finish the sequence, Woods stepped off Sheamus' back and hurled himself over the top rope onto Cesaro before planting The Celtic Warrior with a DDT.

Kingston was able to neutralize The Bar by flying off the ring post as Big E picked up The Miz for the Big Ending and the pinfall victory.

Rating - 8/10

The match started slow but in the last couple of minutes, there was so much action it was almost impossible to keep up! The New Day flew everywhere and Xavier Woods was particularly impressive once he got tagged into the ring. The Bar and The Miz are so good at being heels, it is like they were born to bend the rules. In the end, the right team won but we still have no clue who will represent The New Day at Money in the Bank.

ASUKA VS. MANDY ROSE

After a backstage segment earlier in the night where Mandy Rose showed her displeasure at Asuka being given a title opportunity, GM Paige made the match for Rose to face The Empress of Tomorrow.

Sonya Deville blindsided Asuka whilst she made her way to the ring, although not damaging her enough to stop the match from occurring. Deville's best friend Mandy Rose dominated the early stages of the match as Asuka was still feeling the effects of Deville's attack.

However, the tides quickly changed as Asuka managed to lock in her infamous lock and force Rose to tap. Carmella, who was on commentary, entered the ring after the match and held her Smackdown Women's Title aloft.

Rating - 3/10

A short match with not too much occurring and it didn't help that Corey Graves on commentary was absolutely terrible during the entrances of Asuka and Rose. Carmella didn't really add anything either but we needed to see them both as we are only weeks away from Money in the Bank.

DANIEL BRYAN VS. SAMOA JOE VS. BIG CASS

For the first time in over ten years, and for the first time in WWE, Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan shared a ring. The winner of this triple threat would go on to be the last member of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match - joining Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, The Miz, Kevin Owens, Rusev, Bobby Roode and a member of The New Day.

Joe began on top as he rained some massive jabs down on Bryan and Cass. Joe then flung himself through the top and middle rope at Big Cass before he was on the receiving end of some aerial offense as Bryan flew through the air, taking out Cass and Joe.

Cass was then able to keep Bryan out the ring and focus on Joe but not before Bryan reappeared and landed a huge running dropkick on a seated Samoa Joe. Bryan was so fired up, desperate to get an opportunity to compete in his first ladder match since WrestleMania 31, where he won the Intercontinental Championship.

Big Cass almost won the match on two occasions, hitting Joe with the Empire Elbow and Bryan with the East River Crossing but only get two counts on both men. Bryan almost got the Yes Lock firmly in place on Cass only for Joe to interrupt from the outside of the ring.

Bryan fired up the crowd in Yes chants and perfectly executed the Running Knee on Big Cass but as he went for the pin, Samoa Joe picked up Bryan and locked him in the Coquina Clutch. Despite putting up a fight, Bryan passed out and the referee called a stop to the match and announced Joe as the winner.

Samoa Joe qualifies for Money in the Bank's briefcase match but Big Cass got the last laugh as he hit a big boot as Smackdown went off the air.

Rating - 9/10

A really good match between these three men led to an expected outcome. Bryan remains the underdog by refusing to tap out as Joe sank in a deep submission hold. Big Cass did look a gear behind Joe and Bryan in the ring, but that is due to the vast experience the other two men have. Bryan looked comfortable working with Joe and Cass and it is disappointing that he won't be in that big ladder match next month.
