How on earth can you follow a manager that has just won three consecutive Champions League trophies?

Well, one man is going to have to attempt to do just that.

But who?

Zidane’s sudden announcement on Thursday has left Florentino Perez with a real dilemma on his hands.

Who replaces Zidane?

Mauricio Pochettino, Arsene Wenger and Guti appear to be the frontrunners for the vacancy.

But who do the fans want?

Well, Spanish outlet AS has been asking Real supporters to vote on who they want to replace Zidane.

They were given four options: Pochettino, Wenger, Joachim Löw and Jurgen Klopp.

More than 120,000 fans voted and here are the result:

Klopp - 41%

Pochettino - 34%

Löw - 15%

Wenger - 9%

Well, it’s likely that 41% of fans are going to be disappointed.

Despite losing the Champions League final to Madrid with his Liverpool side, it’s unlikely the German will leave the project he’s working on at Anfield to join the European Champions.

Instead, Pochettino - who got 34% of the votes - looks the most likely to replace Zidane right now.

And the Argentine has been speaking about rumours of him taking over Los Blancos.

Pochettino was asked if he was “ready for a challenge like Real Madrid” to which he responded: “Right now I am ready to go to lunch. I’m looking forward to going back to London.”

Asked if saying no to Real was impossible, he replied: “For you maybe. Not for me.”

Pocettino has only recently signed a new contract at White Hart Lane and there's some uncertainty whether it contains a 'Real Madrid clause' or not.

We'll soon find out...
