One of the hottest topics going on in the professional wrestling world right now is the lawsuit between CM Punk and his good friend and professional wrestler Colt Cabana, against WWE doctor Chris Amann.

Shortly after his release from WWE, Punk appeared on Cabana's podcast to issue his full story on why he made the decision to walk away from the professional wrestling world.

During their conversation, one of the big issues had with WWE was with their doctor, Chris Amann. Punk alleged that Amann was reluctant to treat a massive lump on his back.

When Punk went to see a doctor that his wife, former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, recommended he was told that he had a "full blown staph infection."

Punk had been working through the infection for months and when he revealed this to the doctor he was told that she could've actually died.

The doctor subsequently popped the lump and squeezed the contents out, a process that Punk described as the worst pain he'd ever felt in his entire life.

Soon after the release of the podcast, Amann filed a lawsuit against Punk and Cabana for their comments about him.

The trial begun late last month and is currently ongoing. During Punk's testimony, however, he made a rather interesting revelation about himself.

He finally gave the answer to a long-standing question about his professional wrestling career - what does the 'CM' in CM Punk stand for?

The Answer

According to a report from WrestleZone's Ross Berman, Punk admitted that the 'CM' in fact stands for "Chick Magnet" Punk.

This is likely due to his history with The Chick Magnets tag team. There have been a ton of other speculative predictions as to what the 'CM' stood for, the most popular belief being "Chicago Made."

Since leaving professional wrestling, Punk has transitioned into a mixed martial artist and has been fighting for the UFC.

His professional record is currently 0-1 after losing his debut fight in 2016 via first round submission. He's set to make his return to the Octagon next weekend, however, on June 9th from his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Punk will take on fellow 0-1 record-holder and MMA journalist Mike "The Truth" Jackson.
