Hull's head of football operations Adam Pearson has confirmed the club are interested in signing Tottenham teenager John Bostock.

The 18-year-old has struggled to establish himself at White Hart Lane since moving from Crystal Palace and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Brentford, but new boss Nigel Pearson is keen on taking the midfielder to the KC Stadium on a season-long loan and Adam Pearson is hopeful of making the deal happen.

"John is a player the manager admires and hopefully we can get something sorted," he told the Daily Mail.
