John Cena is one of the biggest names the professional wrestling world has ever seen.

He's been in the ring with the best the industry has had to offer, so when he spots a talent that he believes has big potential, it's definitely worth keeping your eye on that talent. Recently, The Leader Of The Cenation proclaimed one NXT star he thinks can make it big.

Cena made an appearance at the MegaCon Convention in Orlando, Florida for a Q&A with fans. He was asked out of a select few names which NXT star he'd like to work with.

The 16-time WWE World Champion named The Velveteen Dream as the man he'd like to one day share the ring with.

Using a Star Wars reference, Cena said Dream could be "The One" (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

"I have been around the superstars of Raw and SmackDown for a long time," Cena said.

"I recently visited the Performance Center and spoke with the NXT Superstars for around six hours answering questions in a forum such as this.

"I was so inspired by how hard they work and how hungry they are that it made me want to perform with them, so I hope to one day perform on an NXT show.

"My answer is going to upset some people but I would rather face Velveteen Dream," Cena admitted.

"You know in those Star Wars movies with the Jedi and he says something like, 'I think that is the One.' I got that odd, mental and great feeling about Velveteen Dream."

WWE recently picked up this story on their website, posing the following video on Cena's answer regarding his interest in working with Dream:

Velveteen responded to Cena on Twitter, saying that he'd be willing to face him 'whenever he wants':

"Whenever He Wants, The DREAM Is Here"

Dream has since deleted the Tweet. It's unclear if he was asked to do so by WWE or not.

A match-up between Dream and Cena would certainly be an interesting one. To see such different personalities clash on the WWE screen would be amazing.

Not to mention that Cena putting Dream over would be an excellent way to introduce a young new star to the WWE's main roster. Dream has a ton of potential, and it's nice that Cena recognizes that.
