Tyson Fury is ready to make his return to boxing this weekend (Sat. June 9, 2018) when he takes on 39-year-old Albanian knockout artist Sefer Seferi.

It will be the Englishman's first fight back in almost three years. Fury is a former WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring heavyweight champion. He has been out-of-action since defeating Wladimir Klitschko via decision in November of 2015.

A rematch between he and Klitschko was attempted twice, however, Fury pulled out both times citing issues with alcohol, drugs and depression.

The 29-year-old vacated his heavyweight titles and served a two-year ban after testing positive for the banned substance nandrolone in 2015.

Many questioned if Fury would ever return to the ring again, as he gained a massive amount of weight since his last fight.

He has since, however, dropped most of it and is ready go get back into the ring. Earlier this year he announced his intentions to return to action this upcoming weekend in Manchester.

Since he has left, fellow Englishman Anthony Joshua has taken over the heavyweight division and currently holds the titles once held by Fury. He is in negotiations to take on WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

While Fury is no longer the king of heavyweight boxing, he certainly is still acting like it. Recently speaking, he went off on fellow top-tier heavyweights Wilder and Joshua.

He didn't stop there, however, also calling out retired former light heavyweight king Andre Ward, and current middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (quotes via Boxing Scene):

“The fans are going to see the best Tyson Fury there has ever been.

"I know other people talk a good game when they have been out for 1,000 days, on their comeback they always say they have done everything correctly.

“But when I say I never, ever, ever have felt better or stronger or fitter or faster, I mean it.I have sparred hundreds and hundreds of rounds in the gym.

“Fans can expect to see me at my best — the most flamboyant heavyweight on the planet.

“A title shot is 100 percent possible this year. Don’t be surprised if I take over the world this year and win a world title back.

“I can’t sleep at night thinking about bums all the time. I’m thinking about putting my fist through the side of AJ’s jaw.

“I’m thinking about knocking Wilder spark out, all 15 stone of him. Putting him upside down on a heap in the floor.

“And if there are any cruiserweights out there, light-heavyweights or middleweights want to move up, I will give them a good hiding too.

“Gennady Golovkin and Andre Ward — whoever they are, move up to heavyweight and I will sort them all out.”
