Although it's the feud no WWE fan wants to see, Daniel Bryan will, once again, battle Big Cass as the two are set to collide at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Following WrestleMania 34, where Bryan made his official in-ring return, WWE fans were hoping the company was lining up some dream matches and feuds for the popular star. Instead, they have been left both bitterly disappointed and annoyed that Big Cass is Bryan's first singles feud after he was brought over to SmackDown LIVE in the Superstar Shake-up.

MONEY IN THE BANK

They were against it to such an extent, that the majority were pleased when it was revealed that Big Cass might have suffered another injury, as insensitive as it sounds, but were disappointed even further when it was revealed to be a work.

Big Cass crashed the party last week. Fans were looking forward to a singles match between Bryan and Samoa Joe with the winner qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match, only for the former NXT star to spoil proceedings and turn the dream contest into a triple threat match.

Now, fans will be hoping that their Money in the Bank encounter in Chicago is the last time the two face off.

Speaking about the match on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez speculated how the contest - along with the storyline - could finally come to an end which will allow Bryan's next feud to kick off which can lead into a big SummerSlam match.

If this is exactly how it goes down, WWE fans will actually be pleased.

THE MIZ

According to Rajah, Alvarez claimed that the conclusion of the match could see The Miz interfere and cost Bryan the bout. This would then set up a match between the pair for the biggest party of summer and is one of the bigger plans WWE had been working on since Bryan had been cleared to return to the ring.

Plus, seeing as though The A Lister was also sent over to the blue brand in the Shake-up, it seemed like it was only a matter of time before the two eventually faced off.

Even with the likes of Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles on the roster, The Miz is a feud WWE fans want Bryan to get involved in relatively soon. Although, the majority of fans would prefer it if the WWE Championship is somehow on the line too.

So, while a potential Miz interference means Big Cass could finally defeat Bryan, the bigger picture of a feud between Miz and Bryan means fans might be able to stomach that loss.
