Billy Joe Saunders has for a second time withdrawn from his fight against Martin Murray.Saunders has claimed injury as the cause both times, first from of a hand injury in March, and recently because of a hamstring problem. The fight has been cancelled and the prospect of rescheduling seems highly uncertain at the moment, much to Murray’s frustration.Murray was the one to break the news as he put out a video where he said: “The fight’s off with Billy Joe Saunders. He has s**t out again.”He also accused Saunders of dodging the fight to get a better deal with another boxer instead.“We know that he’s just trying to make a big money fight with Golovkin or Canelo and I’m too risky to fight, he just doesn’t want to fight me.”Murray didn’t stop there, however. The Liverpool-man dug up an old tweet from Saunders dating back to 2013, in which Saunders slated David Haye for continuously dropping out of fights with Tyson Fury.Hence the call for hypocrisy.“It wasn't acceptable when it was happening to someone he knew, but now he's doing it, he thinks it's OK. He's a hypocrite with double standards and is an imposter!“You wouldn't hear the last of it if something like this happened to him and he's just like a typical bully who only fights and tries to intimidate people he knows he can win,” his Instagram post said.Murray’s video and Instagram post has gathered significant attention, and Saunders has come back at Murray at full speed. In his own video on Instagram, Saunders returned fire.

“What you are, is a bum.

“You are a tick-over fight for me. You were never dangerous,” he said.

Saunders said he understood that Murray wanted a pay-day as well, but in his next breath, invited Murray to come to him and say those things “and I will lay you cold on the floor.”

On the subject of the Haye vs Fury tweet, where Murray called Saunders a hypocrite, Saunders said: “I did tweet that, because Tyson Fury had spent about 90,000 on two training camps and the fight didn’t happen.

“So there’s a difference between ‘shithouse’ David Haye and me.”

Murray has, however, himself spent money, time and energy on training for this fight, which would be the biggest fight of his career.

Finally, Saunders defended himself and his injuries saying: “I’m a man who will fight anybody.”
