It's been quite an astonishing season for Trent Alexander-Arnold.The Liverpool academy graduate and boyhood fan has featured 34 times for Jurgen Klopp's side in all competitions, including starting the Champions League final against Real Madrid. That was obviously a bittersweet moment as they went on to lose 3-1, but the right-back almost scored in that game, and the signs are looking very positive for the future. He also got two goals in the competition, including a terrific free-kick against Hoffenheim in the qualifying round.Alexander-Arnold got on the scoresheet in the Premier League for the first time too, in the 5-0 thumping of Swansea City at Anfield on Boxing Day.The 19-year-old has all but solidified his position as Liverpool's first-choice right-back too, starting 10 of the final 13 league games. But things hadn't quite reached a head for the youngster just yet, as despite never previously being called up to the England squad, he received a shock inclusion in Gareth Southgate's final 23 for the World Cup in Russia.Although he is unlikely to start for his country in the opening game against Tunisia in two weeks' time, it will no doubt be an unbelievable experience for him. However, there is no way that Alexander-Arnold has travelled to eastern Europe just to make up the numbers. That's pretty obvious with what he's showed in training, as captured by England's Twitter team. They released a video earlier of the right-back curling in a beauty past Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, and the video below is certainly one that Liverpool fans will enjoy.

Alexander-Arnold has displayed his attacking ability plenty for the Reds, and it's good to see he's taken it to the England squad.

With finishing like that, there is every hope that he can continue to develop into one of the most complete full-backs in the league and in Europe.

Pickford was stood absolutely motionless, beaten by the pace and precision of the strike from Alexander-Arnold.

Next season could prove to be even better for the Liverpudlian too, with more regular action at Anfield and for his country sure to be the aim.

He won't have many better managers to guide him than Klopp too, who has shown he has no fear of giving the young stars a chance.

Liverpool and England have got a serious talent on their hands.
