It's no secret that Real Madrid are targeting a big money signing this summer as they search for their next 'galactico'.

Los Blancos may have won the Champions League for the third successive year a few weeks back, but their La Liga form is cause for concern.

Zinedine Zidane's side could only accumulate 76 points, which was only enough for a third place finish.

That tally was 17 points below the mark achieved by Barcelona, while it was also Real Madrid's worst points total since the 2005/06 season.

As Real Madrid have always done, they look likely to spend big in the summer to bridge the gap to Barcelona.

One man that has been heavily linked with Real Madrid has been Neymar.

The Brazilian has only been at Paris Saint-Germain for a season, but it is believed that he is unhappy in the French capital and the Spanish giants want to capitalise.

If Real Madrid were to get that deal over the line it would be a sensational move to say the least.

But how does Cristiano Ronaldo feel about it?

According to Spanish publication AS, it doesn't seem Ronaldo approves.

The report states that Ronaldo 'looks with suspicion and some disbelief' at the lengths Real Madrid are willing to go to sign Neymar.

Ronaldo knows that it will take a massive offer in order to sign him, while he will also command extremely high wages.

The Portuguse winger is set to be 'bothered' that the club are willing to pay extraordinary sums for Neymar, which could amount to €350 million, while his calls for a new contract have been consistently ignored.

Ronaldo has always wanted to be the main man at Real Madrid, but Neymar's signing will jeopardise that status.

His future at the Spanish giants is already in doubt, but if Real Madrid continue to push for a deal with Neymar, it seems likely that the 33-year-old will leave the club in the summer.

RONALDO HAS NOT BEEN ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT HIS SIGNING

Neymar has been linked with the club for some time.

Ronaldo answered a question about Neymar a few weeks back, and he did not seem very enthusiastic about his potential arrival.

“I’ve been here for eight years and people always say 50 players are coming here but in the end no one comes,” he said in an interview on Spanish television, per TalkSPORT.

“In September people think lots of players are going to come but the ones who take us to finals are always the same ones.

"The best players are already at Madrid: [Gareth] Bale, [Karim] Benzema, [Lucas] Vázquez, [Marco] Asensio. They are all here.”
