What happens to Daniel Sturridge this summer?

The Liverpool forward played just 14 times for the Anfield club last season before an injury-blighted loan spell at West From.

Jurgen Klopp clearly doesn’t fancy the striker and it can be argued that Sturridge doesn’t exactly fit the German’s high-pressing style.

And with constant fitness concerns threatening to ruin the 28-year-old's career, it looks very likely that he will be leaving Liverpool this summer.

Roberto Firmino is obviously Klopp’s first-choice when it comes to the centre-forward, while the likes of Danny Ings, Dominic Solanke and even Divock Origi will probably be above Sturridge in the pecking order.

But where will Sturridge go?

Well, in recent days, he’s been linked with a surprising move to Turkey with Besiktas reportedly interested.

This is where Besiktas fans come in.

It seems whenever they’re linked with a high-profile player, they do their very best to convince him to join the club.

And they’ve done it again with Sturridge.

Thousands of Besiktas supporters have bombarded his latest Instagram post with them all saying “Come to Besiktas.”

Sturridge’s notifications must be going crazy.

Of course, this is something that Besiktas fanatics are becoming renowned for.

While presenting signings such as Pepe and Alvaro Negredo, they’ve used the ‘Come to Besiktas’ comments as a tagline in their announcement videos.

And they also did the same to Diego Costa when he was linked with the club.

One generic Costa Instagram post received 300k likes and almost four millions comments - most of them from crazy Besiktas fans.

It didn’t work as Costa later joined Atletico Madrid but they’ll be hoping their comments convince Sturridge.
