If WWE fans had to pick one feud which they wish wasn't taking place on television right now, most of them would perhaps choose the Big Cass and Daniel Bryan storyline on SmackDown LIVE.Ever since Bryan returned to in-ring competition, fans were understandably excited and started to draft up lists of potential dream matches for the former SmackDown general manager. So, when Big Cass was revealed as his first singles feud back in WWE, it's clear to see why there was so much anger.

BORING FEUD

The WWE's perspective can be understood too. Big Cass, along with Samoa Joe, is someone who can be billed as a monster on the blue brand. Plus, if WWE wants Big Cass to go over as a huge heel, then Bryan - the most-loved WWE star in recent memory - is the perfect way to draw that desired heat.

Although, he didn't do himself any favours by going against Vince McMahon's orders during one promo which saw him receive backstage heat. Despite the poor reception to this storyline, WWE is moving ahead with it, and a rematch between the pair is booked for Money in the Bank, which could finally end their rivalry.

Big Cass had an excellent opportunity to deliver a brilliant promo to get the fans invested in their rematch, but again, that failed.

BRILLIANT PROMO

Strangely, WWE decided to upload a Bryan promo once SmackDown had gone off air and now, fans are calling it the best promo of the night and are questioning why it was left off the show. As you'll be able to see below, he said: "It's kind of funny, I'll never survive here...as if I haven't already succeeded here. See, Big Cass just thinks he's a big deal because he's big. And he keeps saying, 'Seven feet tall and you can't teach that!'

"You know what you can't teach? Every single thing that I know. You can teach people the YES Lock, you can teach people a heel hook, you can teach people how to kick them in the head so it's shin bone to the dome when your momma ain't home. Okay?

"But Big Cass, he hasn't learned any of that. Why? Because he's entitled and he's lazy. You think Big Cass had a message for me? Well, guess what? I've got a message for Big Cass. Big Cass, guess what? You said you're going to break my leg in half? You don't even know how! You haven't trained hard enough, you haven't been in the gym hard enough, you don't know how to wrestle hard enough to break my leg in half!

"Do you wanna know what's going to happen at Money in the Bank? I'm going to make you tap out one more time. Whether it's the YES Lock, whether it's the heel hook, whether I just knee you in the face and stomp you in the face until you give up! That's what's going to happen at Money in the Bank! And you can't teach surviving that."

Bryan was able to get the fans fired up in one promo, more than Big Cass has been able to do since their rivalry started, and the fans responded in kind on social media.

If anything, Bryan's post-SmackDown promo has drawn more interest than what Big Cass had to say, especially since he practically buried the seven-foot giant.
