Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker will go to war in London on July 28.The two highly-rated heavyweights will face-off in a pretty unexpected clash, with most boxing fans not expecting Whyte to take on such a high-profile opponent without a world title on the line. There were rumours of both Kubrat Pulev and Luis Ortiz making the trip to the English capital, but the Kiwi fighter got the nod.The Body Snatcher is likely one win away from a world title shot, so his decision to take such a big fight is being commended. It's also a huge opportunity for Parker to bounce back from his defeat to Anthony Joshua, with a victory at the O2 Arena likely to put him back in the frame for a world title shot as well.Eddie Hearn has promised a stacked undercard on the night, with Kell Brook likely to feature. However, while the fight has got boxing fans excited, there is one factor that they simply cannot get their heads around.Despite the fact that no world title will be on the line, the event has been listed as a pay-per-view, which really hasn't gone down well...

BOXING FANS REACT

During the opening press conference, Whyte did his best to promise fans who will splash cash on the fight that there will be entertainment, telling Parker to "leave his running shoes at home".

"I'm here to fight and I want to fight, and I want to give the fans nights to remember," said Whyte. "This is one of them.

"This is a great fight. Joseph Parker will be hungry, will be motivated, and I just hope that he leaves his running shoes at home on July 28 and comes to fight."

Whyte then praised Parker for taking a fight in which he has a significant chance of losing.

"Yeah massive respect to him," said Whyte. "He put up a decent performance last time. He had his moments in the fight with Joshua.

"He could have come back with a couple of easy fights and eke his way back in, but he came back in, wants a big challenge, and he's stepping in with me.

"But I believe it's a big mistake, him doing that. I'm sure he believes different, I'm sure they have seen something in me that they think they can beat.

"Like I always say, everyone always thinks they can do this and do that, and when they get in there, they realise this dude is way better than what we think he is."

Let's just hope they put on a show.
