It's been a good start to the summer transfer window for Manchester United.Jose Mourinho has already completed two signings that significantly strengthen his side going into the new season. He signed Fred from Shakhtar on Tuesday, and then completed the signing of Diogo Dalot just a day later. The Portuguese full-back, who is comfortable playing on both the right and the left of defence, made the move from Porto for £19 million.Although he had only made eight senior appearances for his former side, Mourinho clearly has high hopes for the youngster."In his age group, he is the best full-back in Europe," said Mourinho."He is an extremely talented young defender with all the qualities to quickly become a great player for this club."He has all the attributes that a full-back needs: physicality, tactical intelligence and technical quality, combined with a Porto academy mentality which prepares players for the maturity they need at the professional level."

DIOGO DALOT'S TWEET

Dalot has already made a good impression with Man United fans.

The Portuguese showed his respect for club legend Rio Ferdinand on Twitter, and has now posted another tweet which has gone down well with United fans.

Dalot seems to have already embraced his move, and his excitement about the move is plain to see.

He tweeted: "Yesterday was a "Buzzin" day!! (is it correct, Mancunians?) #MUFC"

Good stuff from Dalot.

He's already made a name for himself on Twitter, with Man United fans loving the passion he has shown since he has arrived at the club.

Let's hope he can translate that passion onto the pitch in a couple of months time when the new Premier League campaign kicks off.
