Tyson Fury is back in action against Sefer Seferi on Saturday night. It's almost one thousand days since Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko on that historic night in Germany and boxing fans are buzzing to see him in the ring again. However, there has been no shortage of criticism over his choice of comeback opponent. On the surface, Seferi boasts a decent record of 23-1 and his only defeat came against WBA (Regular) champion Manuel Charr, which is no shame at all. When you look a little closer, though, Seferi is actually a career cruiserweight and has something of a padded record.

Fury back on the scales

Nevertheless, the uproar has been tempered by the fact Fury has gone almost three years without a professional fight.

Friday gave boxing fans an opportunity to see both fighters up close during their weigh-in and they also got the chance to see Fury's physique after months of gruelling weight loss.

Despite weighing in at 27 stone last year, the 'Gypsy King' stepped on the scales at 19 stone, 10 pounds and two ounces.

Boxing fans staggered by weight difference

Meanwhile, Seferi stepped on the scales at a comparatively miniscule 15 stone and two ounces.

That's right, a difference of almost five stone - and it caused quite the reaction amongst boxing fans.

They were anticipating a large weight difference, but not quite this extreme with some noting that Fury still looked a little out of shape despite his massive weight loss.

Check out the reaction below:

Let's be honest here, Seferi's chances are looking pretty slim.

The Albanian has about everything going against him with weight and height differences stacked against him before actual boxing skill is even discussed.

The fact Fury proceeded to lift his opponent off his feet during the weigh-in, just about sums things up.

Regardless, though, boxing fans will get to see how Fury truly fares on Saturday night.

While his return fight will only give so much of an indication and victory looks assured, it's the beginning of a journey that could end in a slug-fest with Anthony Joshua.
