It's certainly been a busy few weeks for Liverpool fans.

After their 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final, the club have acted in the best possible way, announcing the £44m signing of Fabinho from Monaco.

The Brazilian will fill the void left my Emre Can and could usurp Jordan Henderson in the starting XI, with fellow new signing Naby Keita next to him.

And Liverpool are far from done there in the transfer market.

They've pretty much sealed the signing of highly-rated Nabil Fekir from Lyon, with the Frenchman set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth around £140,000-a-week.

It will make him Liverpool's third highest paid player, with Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk ahead of him.

Because of the financial investment in Fekir, Liverpool now have a new exciting plan which will be put into action after the announcement.

As reported by the Mirror, the club will offer both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane new and improved deals, which will probably see them earn close to - or more than - Firmino's £175,000-a-week.

In a nutshell, it is a very, very good time to be a Liverpool fan right now.

The club's star names are set to be tied down for the foreseeable future, with some huge names arriving to offer them more support going into 2018/19.

Both Salah and Mane have attracted interest from Europe's elite this summer, so it does seem imperative that they're offered new deals.

Salah has constantly been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid, while reports earlier in the week from France Football suggested that Mane had agreed a deal with Los Blancos in principle.

Whether that was true is hard to judge, but it's no surprise that two of the best wide forwards in world football are attracting such attention.

However, with Champions League football, Jurgen Klopp and now an improved contract, they look set for a prolonged stay on Merseyside.
