Daniel Bryan is finally back as a full-time competitor in the WWE, and that opens up the doors for a ton of possibilities.

Bryan suffered from several concussions over the course of his professional wrestling career, with an estimate of over 20 being given. He even suffered a lesion on his brain that caused a few seizures as a result.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was forced to retire from in-ring competition as a result of these injuries, as they were way too much of a liability to allow him to continue competing.

A Long Road Back

For a few years Bryan was sidelined and remained under WWE contract. He accepted a role as SmackDown Live General Manager to keep him busy and on WWE TV.

Despite this, Bryan continued to campaign to get back inside the ring. After seeing several specialists who cleared him to compete again, WWE's doctors still refused to clear Bryan.

After being cleared by several doctors recommended to him by WWE, Bryan was finally cleared by the company to return to the ring. He teamed up with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34 against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Bryan later resigned from his role as SmackDown Live General Manager and returned to full-time competition. This opened up the door for a ton of dream matches that fans have been waiting to see.

While the matches against the likes of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, CM Punk and others loom over fans' minds, one stands out amongst the rest - a match-up with Kurt Angle.

Dream Match

Angle was just cleared to return to WWE competition not too long ago either. He officially returned last year to team up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at Tables Ladders and Chairs.

Since getting the green light to wrestle again, Angle has seemed to be interested in some singles matches down the road for himself.

He's coming off a high-profile match at WrestleMania 34 in which he teamed up with Ronda Rousey to successfully defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Championship match.

Angle recently took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself and Daniel Bryan fighting during the Greatest Royal Rumble match. Angle has Bryan in the Ankle Lock, and captioned the photo with the following:

"#AnglevsBryan at the Greatest Royal Rumble. How about a 1 on 1 match up? #itstrue"
