Tyson Fury's 26th professional fight will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.Despite the fact the Gypsy King was making his comeback after nearly three years out of the sport, boxing fans simply could not get over how ridiculous the bout at the Manchester Arena was.Fury's opponent Sefer Seferi clearly didn't come to fight, with the Albanian pulling out in the fourth round.Manchester's own even admitted he didn't want Seferi as an opponent, saying: “I didn’t want him tonight. When they’re really small, they’re awkward and they’re quick. I want someone big and heavy who looks the part so when I hit them they can’t move out of the way basically.
“I”m very happy with my performance overall, I thought it was very good. An excellent performance, I enjoyed every minute.”
Not sure many will agree about the performance...
Attention now turns to his next opponent at Windsor Park on August 18, with the likes of David Price and Tony Bellew already being mentioned.
However, one name that may be thrown into the hat now is American fighter Jarrell Miller after he sent some pretty savage tweets to Fury after the fight.
MILLER GOES FULL SAVAGE MODE
You can bet that will antagonise Fury, particularly the second one criticising his boxing style.
Miller is viewed as one of the most promising heavyweights in the game, holding an impressive 21-1-0 record, with 18 of his victories coming courtesy of a knockout.
At 29, he is yet to take on a high-profile opponent and he would surely jump at the chance to meet Fury in the ring, even if it meant travelling to the UK for the first time his career.
And back in 2016, Miller did actually call out Fury.
“Anthony Joshua is a punk. Deontay Wilder, don’t get me started,” he said.
“Now, Tyson Fury can actually punch. I’ll give him that. From all of them, Fury in my opinion is the better one. That’s why I want to fight him.
“I believe you should go for the hardest ones first. You take the biggest guy out first and then, you go for the easy ones. That’s how it’s supposed to be and that’s what I’d like to do. Take the hard ones out first. Fury, you are next.”
Make it happen!
