It wasn't the fight everyone expected or wanted, but Tyson Fury is back and he's adamant that he can reclaim his place at the peak of heavyweight boxing some day.

Saturday night's bout with Sefer Seferi saw the Gypsy King have some fun in the opening few rounds, showboating more than throwing punches.

It was much of the same in the third, but in the fourth Fury started to take things more seriously and landed some nice combinations.

And when the bell rung, Seferi had clearly had enough. His trainers threw in the towel before the next round could even begin.

Realistically Fury was never going to lose and such an easy fight was exactly what he needed to mark his comeback.

Despite losing seven stone over the past year, the 29-year-old is still a stone-and-a-half away from being the weight he needs to be.

So what's next? Well, promoter Frank Warren explained in the ring that Fury will next be fighting on August 18 at Windsor Park, Belfast.

ON TO THE NEXT ONE

"As he (Fury) said from the beginning, it's a process," said Warren. "It's about him getting the rust out of the system.

"As you can see he's still got a bit of weight to lose, you can see he needs the rounds and we just have to step up the opponents each time. The name of the game now is to find an opponent.

"We keep moving onward and keep moving forwards and the objective is to get him into contention to fight for the world title as soon as possible."

Who Fury will fight next is anyone's guess at the moment, with Tony Bellew and David Price both being mentioned in recent weeks.

Warren was asked about the likelihood of Fury taking on Bellew next in their post-fight press conference, though it was Fury who answered the question (see below at 11.47).

And he gave a clear indication of the types of boxers he wants to face going forward: "Listen, I want someone big. Small ones, I don't like them. Big.

"Look at [Anthony] Joshua and [Deontay] Wilder, they're both over 6' 5", so I've got to prepare for people like that. Big, slow, ugly fellas."

Make of that what you will, but Bellew stands at 6' 3" and weighs over 15 stone, so he probably fits into the category of "someone big".

It's going to be an interesting couple of months.
