The Dallas Cowboys released Dez Bryant back in April after he'd spent the last eight years in Texas. The wide receiver was drafted into the NFL as the 24th overall pick of the 2010 draft - and he achieved quite a lot with the team Dez went to the Pro Bowl three times - once as a First-team All-Pro - and he also led the league in receiving touchdowns back in 2014.

LOSING HIS TOUCH

However, in recent years, many have claimed that Bryant is not as good as he used to be. Despite those claims, he started and played all 16 games of the 2017 season.

Unfortunately, he only managed six touchdowns all year - and it looks like those who had been saying that he's lost it were proven right.

After a disappointing return last season, he was released by the Cowboys.

POTENTIAL SUITORS

Bryant is such a big name though, that he shouldn't struggle to find a new team. However, he's remained pretty quiet since becoming a free agent a couple of months ago.

According to Bleacher Report, he turned down a multiyear offer from the Baltimore Ravens in the hope of signing a one-year deal that could turn into a bigger contract next year.

And judging by what a fellow NFL pro has tweeted this weekend, the Ravens might not be the only franchise interested in taking Bryant.

JALEN RAMSEY'S MESSAGE

On Sunday night, Jacksonville Jaguars corner Jalen Ramsey sent a message to Bryant on Twitter, apparently inviting him down to the team's mandatory minicamp.

"Yo @DezBryant What you thinking? We both can go to Jax this week" he tweeted.

Arguably, that's a not so subtle offer from Ramsey - who's clearly interested in seeing where Bryant will be playing next season.

And he's not the only Jaguar who's monitoring the situation - with teammate Myles Jack liking the tweet as well.

DEZ IN JACKSONVILLE?

Interestingly though, even with Ramsey's apparent interest - if Bryant moves to Jacksonville, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense football-wise.

The Jaguars, who reached the AFC Championship game last season, already have a strong group of wide receivers, with the likes of Marquise Lee and Donte Moncrief on their roster.

Also, the team released Allen Hurns in March - and the Cowboys snatched him up just three days later, clearly believing that he's an upgrade on Bryant, who was released shortly after.

However, if Dez does sign a rather unexpected deal with the Jaguars, there's no doubt he'd be joining a talented team that's looking to improve on what was a great finish last season.
