Lukaku impressed Man United fans

If Lukaku plays as well in Russia as he did against Costa Rica, then Belgium certainly can go far.

The 25-year-old has scored 19 goals in his last 17 matches for Belgium and his performance left Man United fans wondering what could be.

Lukaku converted from crosses for both of his goals and Man United fans believe he can be just as lethal for them if Jose Mourinho signs full-backs and wingers who are proficient in their delivery.

Twitter user @manchesterdalot wrote: “Reason I constantly go on about United needing a right winger and attacking full-backs, you give him proper service he will score a lot of goals every season.”

Man United fans can only hope that 19-year-old Diogo Dalot, who arrived from Porto last week, can form an instant connection with Lukaku.

Dalot is known for being an attacking full-back and the fact that he recorded eight assists in all competitions in 2017-18 is extremely promising.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are reportedly still interested in signing Danny Rose and he can always be relied upon to pose a threat down the left flank.

There haven’t been many rumours linking Man United with a new winger but that could change, especially with Anthony Martial’s future unclear.
